My name is Oliver and I have always wanted to travel. NOW the time has arrived! I started this blog to share my experiences with friends and family but if you don't know me, here are a few quick facts. I am from Sheffield, UK; and have an aspiration to see as much of the World as possible.

The Nomad is my story of travelling around Australia, New Zealand and Asia. I will share my day to day experiences on this side of the planet and hopefully give you an insight into what the backpacking lifestyle is really like.
